Cal State Fullerton’s College of Education is hosting the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate June 8-10.
The campus event brings together 175 higher education leaders from across the country to discuss and define the future of the education doctorate. Educational leadership faculty members are among presenters on such topics as just, equitable and inclusive education and strategies for students to earn an Ed.D. in three years. Additionally, about 20 campus Ed.D. graduates will present research.
“We’ve used the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate framework to help strengthen our doctoral program, but I also believe we are a leading program and that we are influencing doctoral programs from across the country through our work with CPED,” said John L. Hoffman, chair and associate professor of educational leadership.
Claire C. Cavallaro, dean of the College of Education, is a member of the CPED board of directors.
