Educators will discuss issues related to educational assessment at “Common Ground: Building Effective, Sustainable and Practical Assessment,” Cal State Fullerton’s upcoming Assessment Conference. The program is open to the public.
Who:
Keynote speaker is Amy Driscoll, senior scholar at the New England Resource Center for Higher Education, consulting scholar with the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of teaching, and a consultant with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Why:
“The annual assessment conference provides an opportunity to share innovative practices, as well as to increase understanding of assessment techniques within and across academic disciplines and student affairs,” said Marisol Cardenas, assessment coordinator. “The program is designed to offer insights, particularly to faculty members, and to those involved in assessment at all levels.”
Cal State Fullerton’s assessment program is co-sponsored by the University’s Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, Office of Academic Affairs and the Faculty Development Center.
Cost:
$95 for the public. Register for conference, including lunch, online. Cal State Fullerton faculty, staff and students may attend for free.
