Cal State Fullerton’s Mihaylo College of Business and Economics hosts the April 28-29 Titan Capital Management Student Investment Conference, “Sifting Through the Noise.”
The two-day program is open to both graduate and undergraduate college students interested in a career in asset management or financial analysis. Faculty advisers and representatives of financial companies are also invited to take part.
The two-day program will feature an investment competition as well as a research contest sponsored by the crowd-sourced content service Seeking Alpha. There will be presentations, mock interviews with representatives of financial service companies, faculty and practitioner roundtable discussions, and workshops on such topics as credit analysis, private equity, real estate investment trusts (REIT) and financial modeling taught by working practitioners.
The 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, April 28, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, program will be held in various locations throughout Steven G. Mihaylo Hall.
Cost to participate: conference only: $25; research contest: $30; investment competition: $40. Competition fees including conference fee. Registration is online.
