Titan Parent and Family Fund Empowers Students to Reach Their Goals

Fresh off the excitement of Cal State Fullerton’s third annual Alumni and Family Weekend, it’s clear that when Titan families are engaged, students thrive. For many college students, navigating the demands of higher education can feel overwhelming. The fast-paced academic environment, new challenges and pressures of independence can weigh heavily on their shoulders, but research shows that students with active, involved families excel both academically and socially.

At Cal State Fullerton, no student should face these challenges alone. That’s why the Titan Parent and Family Fund plays such a vital role in the student experience. This fund strengthens the connection between students and their families, offering workshops and social events that empower parents with the tools to support their students through academic hurdles and life transitions. These events foster a sense of community and guidance, ensuring that families are informed and engaged throughout their student’s college journey.

Beyond events, the Titan Parent and Family Fund also provides critical financial support through scholarships. These scholarships help students like Zach Ewing manage the financial demands of college while pursuing their education.

“This scholarship will help me achieve my career goals while dedicating more time and energy toward being the best student I can be,” said Ewing, last year’s scholarship recipient and a CSUF student-athlete.

Whether it’s a small or large donation, each gift fuels the programs that make Cal State Fullerton a nurturing and dynamic environment. This support ensures that every Titan has the foundation they need to excel academically, socially and personally. After all, when families are engaged, students are empowered. And when students are empowered, they succeed.
