Students interested in pitching their plan for a new business are invited to compete in the 2017 Center for Entrepreneurship’s Business Plan Competition. More than $5,000 in scholarships and $10,000 in-kind awards are being offered, and all CSUF students are eligible to participate.
Deadline to apply is Sunday, March 5. Semifinalists will be announced March 16 and will compete March 24 to be named one of the top finalists.
Want to see the action? The public is invited to attend the finals, with the top five competitors/teams, April 14 in Portola Pavilion of the Titan Student Union.
“The competition provides our students the essentials for startup success: expert advice from real investors, exposure to potential customers and a chance to secure some serious money along with in-kind services,” said John B. Jackson, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and competition organizer. “Plus, it is a blast.”
