Cal State Fullerton will celebrate Native American and Indigenous Heritage Month this November. This annual event is a great opportunity for the campus community to honor the rich contributions of Native American and Indigenous history and cultures. The Office of Engagement and Belonging invites submissions for events, workshops, panels and performances to highlight these vibrant traditions and histories on the dedicated Native American and Indigenous Heritage Month webpage.
Submissions should aim to educate, engage and/or inspire the campus community about the different aspects of Native American and Indigenous heritage.
Examples of submissions include:
- Cultural workshops: Dance, cooking, language, art, etc.
- Guest speaker series: Invite influential speakers to share insights.
- Film screenings: Highlight films that explore Native American and Indigenous themes.
- Panel discussions: Address important topics related to identity, history and contemporary issues.
- Musical performances: Showcase traditional or contemporary music genres.
- Art exhibitions: Feature student artwork that embodies the spirit of the celebration.
Submissions can be entered by completing the submission form no later than Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. For questions or additional information, contact Alexis Naucler at ainaucler@fullerton.edu.
The university invites all members of the Titan community to engage with Native American and Indigenous Heritage Month programming.
