Caterina Vivirito, a 2025 M.S. in Taxation graduate from Cal State Fullerton, is now a full-time staff member at Big Four accounting firm EY in Irvine, exemplifying the opportunities available to graduates of the taxation program at the College of Business and Economics. Vivirito, who also earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting at CSUF, began her EY experience with an internship in summer 2024 as a graduate student.
“Going through the M.S. in Taxation program played such a large role in my transition into the workforce,” said Vivirito. “Being familiar with the tax language made it easier for me to understand what was going on and not being completely lost in the dark. It is a rewarding feeling knowing that I will be applying what I learned in real life. It makes me so grateful for going through the program.”
