The Titan community has already hit the ground running for this academic year. Housing and Residential Engagement staff helped students settle into their campus homes during Move-In Day, including at a new residence hall.

The university also welcomed new members of the Titan community who are faculty, administrators and staff.

In addition, 19 new faculty members have joined the community. They specialize in such areas as artificial intelligence, mental health support, education leadership and contemporary art. Additionally, the Office of Faculty Affairs and Records announced the tenure and/or promotion of 71 faculty members.

Associated Students Inc. is led by a newly elected president, Cesar Mendoza, a third-year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance.

Titans will notice significant construction progress and milestones underway across campus.

Housing and Residential Engagement kicked off the academic year by moving students into the newly constructed Jewel Plummer Cobb Hall. Boasting more than 150,000 square feet and six stories, the 512-bed building houses four students in each two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit, which includes a kitchen and a living area.

The 18,000-lb. Titan Statue is a new addition to campus. Located in O’Brien Square between the Humanities-Social Sciences Building, Gordon Hall and Langsdorf Hall, the iconic 22-foot statue reflects the ambitions, diversity and pride of Cal State Fullerton Titans past, present and future.

The 42,000 square-foot College of Engineering and Computer Science Innovation Hub, slated for completion in fall 2027, will feature a cybersecurity range and data center, a drone experience lab, and advanced manufacturing spaces.

Also slated for completion in 2027, Landmark Hall is located adjacent to the College of Business and Economics and will house the Institute for Leadership Studies and the Giles-O’Malley Center for Leadership. The three-story building will serve as an academic hub for leadership studies across Orange County and beyond.
