Cal State Fullerton Athletics Academic Services opened newly renovated space Monday, Sept. 23, for student-athletes to use as an academic and advising center. The DEGREE (Division I, Eligibility, Graduation, Retention, Engage, Empower) Program and advising offices provide proactive support for potential academic progress rate concerns and a structured learning environment. DEGREE also provides objective-based study time, along with intentional academic mentoring and tutoring.
“We are very proud of the newly renovated academic space for our student-athletes,” Director of Athletics Jim Donovan said. “With the help of President (Fram) Virjee and the grant we received from the NCAA, we were able to upgrade this area to aid our student-athletes in thriving in the classroom.” Continue reading in Titan Athletics.
