The Cal State Fullerton baseball program is hosting its annual Dinner with the Titans fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the City National Grove of Anaheim. Titan baseball star and Major League Baseball broadcaster, Jose Mota will be the keynote speaker for the event.
The fundraiser serves as an opportunity for fans to meet and mingle with the current team and coaches as well as former Titan players.
Mota earned All-American status in 1985 and helped Cal State Fullerton win the College World Series in 1984. He also spent two seasons in the majors, one with the San Diego Padres and the other with the Kanas City Royals before retiring and getting into broadcasting.
Today, Mota is a broadcaster with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the MLB Network.
