
Cal State Fullerton’s nursing-anesthesia program held its rankings at No. 1 in California and No. 7 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings. Additionally, CSUF’s nursing-midwifery program is ranked No. 1 of two programs in California and No. 32 in the nation.
CSUF’s nursing-anesthesia doctoral program, offered in partnership with the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia, tied nationally with Duke University, Georgetown University and the University of Cincinnati. CSUF’s nursing-midwifery master’s program this year tied nationally with Frontier Nursing University and Shenandoah University.
CSUF’s other national 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings announced in spring 2025 include:
- No. 105 in Part-Time MBA Programs
- No. 110 in Fine Arts
- No. 120 in Social Work
- No. 120 in Speech-Language Pathology
- No. 137 in Public Health
- No. 144 in Public Affairs
Each ranking category has a specific methodology. For master’s programs in nursing, U.S. News ranked 146 master’s programs similarly to 2024 by measuring faculty resources, research activity, peer assessment and program size.
