Arboretum and Botanical Garden at CSUF Offers Unique Space for Weddings

With its tranquil waterfalls, lush gardens, and colorful flowers, the Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton makes the perfect setting for hosting special events such as weddings.

Whether you envision an intimate ceremony in a secluded garden alcove, or a grand reception in a spacious pavilion, the arboretum offers a range of options to suit every style and size of celebration. There are six venues to explore, each with their own unique features:

  • Wisteria Covered Arbor offers seating for up to 150 guests. With its earthy and light atmosphere in the shade of lush greenery, the arboretum makes for a one-of-a-kind setting for saying your vows.
  • Orchard Lawn adds a serene charm to your events by showcasing the beauty of all four seasons. This is a perfect spot to accommodate 150-350 guests.
  • The intimate Rose Garden, accommodating up to 50 guests, features a breathtaking array of multicolored roses.
  • South Pond, seating 25-150 guests, features the historic Heritage House and stunning Bamboo Forest, making this a unique and memorable venue.
  • Take in the stunning garden views and dance the night away in the open-air Bacon Pavilion Patio. With seating of up to 250 guests and options for custom arrangements and décor, you can create your dream wedding reception here.
  • Nikkei Heritage Museum offers a modern open-concept design with a view of the gardens and an outdoor patio for cocktail receptions.

The arboretum works with preferred vendors to provide catering, beverages, coordinating and planning for your event. There are also restroom facilities and a full-service kitchen available. For ceremonies hosting over 50 guests, the arboretum provides a dedicated bridal dressing room for the bride and a room for the groom’s preparations.

There is no charge for parking from Fridays at 5 p.m. through Sundays at 11 p.m. Vehicle parking on other days is $10 per vehicle.
