As the new 2024-25 academic year begins in several weeks, staff and volunteers from the Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton are launching a new theme for the upcoming year: Discover.
At the CSUF Arboretum and Botanical Garden, supporters and visitors can discover the rare fruit orchard, native plants, roses, pond life and the children’s garden. Plans are underway to explore Native Americans’ use of plants and medicinal herbs, as well as other natural topics.
There will be new classes and programs designed specifically for members of the Arboretum and Botanical Garden. There is a concerted effort to reach out to students, faculty and staff to introduce and partner with the campus community. There are also many opportunities for engagement and outreach with residents of the surrounding communities through school field trips, special events, plant sales, education and more.
People are invited to visit the Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton and learn about its many programs and developments, while also discovering more about the science and beauty found within its 26 acres.
