As part of our longstanding tradition of celebrating cultural heritage, February marks a significant milestone for our campus as we honor Black History Month. This annual observance is a powerful opportunity for our community to come together and commemorate the remarkable history, immeasurable contributions, and extraordinary diversity of Black individuals and communities.
The Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Programs invites the Titan community to actively engage in this celebration by submitting programs for events, workshops, panels, performances, and other activities that honor and celebrate Black History Month. Let’s collectively shine a spotlight on the resilience and richness of Black cultures and communities.
Event Guidelines: Programs should aim to educate, engage, and/or inspire our campus community about the multifaceted aspects of Black heritage. We encourage innovative and collaborative events that embrace and reflect the diverse range of experiences within the Black community.
