Break Down Barriers and Help Students Fund Their Study Abroad Journeys

Share This:

Many students dream of studying abroad but face the daunting hurdles of financial constraints. In fact, one of the top concerns that Cal State Fullerton students share when deciding whether or not to study abroad is “how much does it cost, and how can I pay for it?”

The Study Abroad and Global Engagement office at CSUF works hard to provide answers to these questions, but they also want to be able to provide funding support.

“Study, research and internships abroad have documented positive outcomes for students’ personal development, academic success and increased employability,” said Shari Merrill, associate director of SAGE. “Cost is just one barrier of several between students and these transformative experiences. If we can help to remove this one barrier, it would tip the odds in our students’ favor, allowing more Titans to reap a lifetime of benefits.”

That’s why, on March 6, SAGE is participating in #TitansGive, an annual 24-hour fundraising initiative that unites the community to support various CSUF programs.

Giving to SAGE on March 6 will go toward providing scholarships and grants for students who face financial barriers, allowing them to fulfill their dreams of studying abroad.

Join the countdown to TitansGive on March 6 and get ready to give!
