April is Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American Heritage Month at Cal State Fullerton, a time to celebrate the rich histories, cultures and contributions of APISAA communities. While APISAA Heritage Month is traditionally celebrated in May, CSUF observes it in April to accommodate the academic calendar and to ensure campus community participation. Cal State Fullerton honors this month with a diverse range of events, discussions, and activities that reflect the voices, experiences, and impact of APISAA individuals on this campus and beyond.

April is also Southwest Asian and North African Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the rich histories, cultures and contributions of SWANA communities. From storytelling and art to activism and scholarship, SWANA individuals have shaped societies across the globe. This month, the campus community honors their resilience, traditions and impact while fostering greater awareness and appreciation for the diversity within the SWANA region.

Stop by the APISAA and SWANA Heritage Month book display on the first floor of the Pollak Library throughout the month of April to celebrate and honor these cultures and communities.
CSUF encourages everyone to attend, engage and celebrate together as the campus strives for greater representation, inclusion and belonging.
