Celebrate Global Diversity at CSUF International Education Week 2023

Share This:

International Education Week (IEW) is an annual event celebrated across the United States that highlights the importance of international education and cultural exchange.

According to the official website for IEW, it’s a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education “to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.”

This year, International Education Week is happening from November 13-17, and Cal State Fullerton will be having a big celebration to honor all the diverse cultures that make up its community.

Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) is inviting all students, faculty, staff, and alumni to International Education Week 2023: Cultures of CSUF.

During this week-long celebration, there will be lots of events to look forward to, including interactive workshops, guest speakers, cultural performances, and much more. Any campus organization or department is welcome to sign up to be a Participant, where they can host an event or presentation during the festivities at International Education Week.

If you’d like to get involved and help out with some of the fun activities during the week, you can also sign up to be a Volunteer. Volunteering at IEW is a great opportunity to interact with the international student community, forge meaningful connections, and expand your worldview.
