Cal State Fullerton is set to celebrate International Education Week 2023. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education promotes programs and events that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. CSUF students, faculty, staff, and the community have the opportunity to come together and celebrate the global exchange of ideas, knowledge, and cultures.
Throughout the week of November 13–17, CSUF will host a variety of activities and events throughout campus:
- Cultural Performances: Clubs and organizations will have an opportunity to showcase their talents and celebrate different cultures. SEOULFUL, the talented K-Pop dance cover group at CSUF, is performing at the Kick-Off Celebration of International Education Week on Monday (TSU Pavilion A, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.).
- Food Markets: Whether at the Farmer’s Market on Tuesday or the Titan Night Market on Wednesday (presented by the Asian Pacific American Resource Center & Associated Students, Inc.), you’ll get to explore diverse global cuisines.
- Art Exhibitions: The CSUF Ceramic Club and CSUF Glass & Metal Club will showcase their projects. And you don’t want to miss the live glass-blowing demonstration on Wednesday (VA 130 Glass Studio, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.).
- Workshops: Throughout the week, virtual workshops and webinars can help you learn about study abroad programs, post-graduate opportunities abroad, and more.
Cal State Fullerton’s International Education Week 2023 promises to be an exciting and enriching experience for students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community. By celebrating and embracing the diversity of cultures and perspectives that make up our world, this event will expand your global knowledge and awareness while strengthening the bonds of our multicultural society.
