On March 15, a team of second-year graduate students from Cal State Fullerton’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders won the 2024 California Speech-Language-Hearing Association annual College Bowl competition for the first time since 2018.
This event tests students’ academic and clinical knowledge in a simulated experience, where they take the Praxis Exam that is required for certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for state licensure and credential. The members of the winning team are Natasha Bui, Valerie Hen, Rebeca De La Cruz, Bushra Kanawati and Kristie Law.
