Cal State Fullerton’s educational leadership program in the College of Education was recognized for full membership by the University Council for Educational Administration. This distinction underscores the program’s commitment to excellence in preparing and developing educational leaders who make a meaningful impact in schools, districts and communities.

This recognition reflects the strength of the college’s faculty, students and partners and affirms CSUF’s leadership in advancing high-quality preparation, research and policy for educational leaders. Following a competitive review, the UCEA Executive Committee and Plenum voted to approve CSUF’s application with strong support. The site review team praised the value that CSUF programs add to the UCEA community.

For CSUF, this means national recognition, expanded leadership opportunities and an active voice. Full membership signals that CSUF meets UCEA’s highest standards for leadership preparation and scholarship. University faculty and students will engage with a national network dedicated to enhancing leadership practices and promoting equity in education. CSUF will also participate in UCEA governance and collaborative initiatives across member institutions.

CSUF will be welcomed as a full member at the UCEA Annual Convention in November 2025 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and will be featured as a new full member in an upcoming issue of the UCEA Review.
