Poetry and the Heart of Listening
Cal State Fullerton celebrates the National Poetry Month with the program: Poetry and the Heart of Listening. The creation of poetry calls for attentiveness—listening with all of our being, heart, mind, body. This year’s poetry events celebrate such attentiveness in our world wracked with a pandemic and war, and invite the empathy that emerges in the creation and sharing of poetry.
