Cal State Fullerton’s Study Abroad and Global Engagement is thrilled to announce that 20 CSUF students, including 16 first-generation students, are set to participate in the Gachon International Summer School program.

The GISS program, hosted by Gachon University in South Korea, is designed to offer international students a four-week experience in “K-Culture.” Through a range of activities both inside and outside the classroom, participants will be exposed to various aspects of Korean culture, including language, martial arts, music and food. The program fee is fully funded by Gachon University, so students only cover the costs of their flights and personal expenses.

Gachon University is located in Seongnam, South Korea. Representatives of the school visited Cal State Fullerton in June 2023 to sign a letter of intent for partnership and cooperation.
