Share This:

From smartphones to artificial intelligence to cybersecurity, computing technology is developing at an explosive rate. As a result, companies have an increasing need for individuals with a strong computer science foundation who are ready to take on software development projects within a tech organization, such as Amazon, Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Salesforce or Adobe.

These demands call for a fast-paced educational program that efficiently builds practical skills. That’s why Cal State Fullerton Extension and International Programs is excited to announce that fall 2024 applications are open for its new Accelerated Master’s in Applied Computer Science (AMACS) program.

This is an excellent option if you’ve earned your bachelor’s in computer science and are looking to advance your education and career. It’s also ideal if you have prior experience in software development and want to further your training or “upskill.”

Some of the highlights of this program include:

  • Fast-tracked curriculum. This program can be completed in just 16 months.
  • Affordable classes. The cost per unit is $1,000 plus campus fees. This is a cost-effective way to advance in the lucrative field of computer science.
  • On-campus format. Classes are held on the CSUF campus. You’ll get to interact with your instructors face-to-face and build connections among fellow students.

There will be free virtual info sessions for the AMACS program on Feb. 28 and April 10, 2024. This is an opportunity for you to get any questions answered about the program and meet the faculty and staff. Register for an info session by clicking here.

The deadline for domestic students to apply for CSUF’s Accelerated Master’s in Applied Computer Science program is May 1, 2024. The deadline for international students is April 1, 2024. Apply now by clicking here.
