Are you curious about studying abroad? Do you want to learn about unique and affordable study abroad programs and helpful resources?
Then you don’t want to miss the Cal State Fullerton Study Abroad and Global Engagement (SAGE) Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Titan Student Union (TSU) Pavilion A!
“The Study Abroad and Global Engagement Fair is a wonderful opportunity for the students and the CSUF community to get an introduction to all of the study abroad opportunities available to them at our university,” says Shari Merrill, associate director for CSUF Study Abroad and Global Engagement.
At the fair:
- Discover programs for every budget and major.
- Get advice from SAGE staff, visiting exchange students, program representatives and faculty-leaders, and CSUF/SAGE alumni.
- Find out how you can travel while earning academic credit and stay on track to graduate.
Merrill adds, “We have full representation of all types of SAGE program opportunities, virtual and in-person: Exchange programs through the Chancellor’s Office and our partners abroad, study and internship programs with one of our education abroad providers, and our own faculty-led programs across the various colleges. Attendees can also learn about post-graduate opportunities to teach, study, and volunteer abroad.”
Also, for the first time, the fair will feature breakout sessions throughout the day. Stop by TSU Hetebrink A&B for a variety of presentations, covering information sessions, career impact opportunities, Fulbright and more.
“Our break-out sessions will help students understand the career implications and return on investment for participating in a SAGE program, as well as financial resources that will support that participation,” said Merrill.
It’s sure to be a day of excitement and discovery on September 6!
