Cal State Fullerton’s Office of Graduate Studies hosted its fifth annual Titan Grad Slam on April 24, where nine graduate students took the virtual stage to present their research in just three minutes each to a general audience. Representing a wide range of disciplines, the participants were judged on clarity, engagement and accessibility.
This year’s top honors went to Amanda Tsang, a chemistry graduate student and Sarah Holman De Bruyn, a public health graduate student. The pair will go on to represent Cal State Fullerton at the California State University Grad Slam finals on May 9, hosted by Cal State San Bernardino.
