The International Programs office at Cal State Fullerton Extension and International Programs will relocate this July 2023 to Pollak Library to better serve international students and scholars and students who wish to study abroad.
International Programs, which serves both CSUF students who are interested in studying away (domestically) or abroad (internationally) and students and scholars visiting from outside the U.S., is currently located at Titan Hall, across the street on State College Boulevard.
Debra Leahy, dean for extension and associate vice president for international programs, says that one of EIP’s goals is to “foster a culture of belonging and inclusion for our international students.”
“While Titan Hall has worked well for Extension,” says Leahy, “this has not been the case for many of our international students as they wish for ease of access and more integration with the campus.”
Moving International Programs to a central location on the CSUF campus will make it more convenient for students and scholars to visit.
“When international students need access to International Students & Scholars, they will be there,” says Leahy. “When international students first arrive, a team will be there to answer questions and guide them. When students are drawn to study abroad and wish to learn more and gain guidance, the team will be there.”
The International Programs office will be closed Tuesday, July 11, as moving preparations are made. The new location will officially open Wednesday, July 12, at 8 a.m. in Pollak Library, Room 120 (PLN-120). The team looks forward to serving you in its new location.
