Jet Dental will offer one-hour comprehensive exams, preventive cleanings, and X-rays for faculty and staff. Please check with your dentist to make sure you have not reached your two cleanings per year. This service is no cost for employees with Delta Dental PPO insurance. For those who do not have dental insurance, or who have exceeded two cleanings per year, the cost is $150.
The Glo Professional 30-minute teeth-whitening system uses heat and light for fast, long-lasting whitening results without sensitivity at a cost of $249.
Teledentistry is a new addition to Jet Dental services. With this service, the hygienist and dental assistants provide X-rays and cleaning at the office. The dentist remotely reviews the X-rays, develops the treatment plan and provides employees with any follow-up information for additional treatment. A dentist will be available virtually during the event. Jet Dental will provide cavity filings on-site on a case-by-case basis. Jet Dental can also give you a copy of your X-ray and a treatment plan to take to your own dentist or provide you with a referral. Jet Dental also provides estimates on personal treatment plans.
Employees are encouraged to take advantage of this convenient service. If you plan to use this service during work hours, please consult with your manager. In the event that all time slots are filled when booking, place yourself on “stand-by” and a Jet Dental representative will contact you.
