Kalani Hobayan, lecturer in kinesiology, was named Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year by the California Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
Hobayan, who will receive the award in Oakland on Jan. 21, is currently pursuing his doctorate at Cal State Fullerton. He is a two-time Titan alum, who earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in kinesiology.
