The Online B.A. in Business Administration is taught by the same high-quality faculty as in-person courses at Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics. Recognized for both research and teaching acumen, CSUF’s many faculty members are notable for a quality and stature.
One of these faculty members is Shaun Pichler, professor of management, who earned his doctorate in human resources and industrial relations management from Michigan State University. Pichler is a professor in the online B.A. in Business Administration program. His research on workplace diversity, trends including flexible scheduling and human resource management has landed his studies consistently in top-ranked journals.
Pichler has taught Human Resource Management since the online program’s inception in 2012. Back then, online education was the exception rather than the rule in higher education, and the CSUF program was notable for its flexibility. This added value continues today.
“Students can choose how much time they want to spend interacting with the professor, when they want to engage the course material, and what modality they want to spend the most time on, such as recorded lectures versus curated readings,” said Pichler. “What I like most about teaching online is being able to provide students with flexibility and access while also being available to those students who exert extra effort in the course, such as by working one-on-one to help them perform well in the course and in their careers.”
