On July 17, from 6 a.m.-1 p.m., CSUF Police Department, along with fire and police agencies from surrounding cities, will participate in an annual active shooter training in CSUF Housing – Sycamore, Valencia and Cypress.
Regular training allows first responders to provide the highest level of qualified service to the community when called upon. During that time, access to those specific areas in Housing are restricted to ensure the safety of the community. If you find yourself in the area, please follow all instructions given by the CSUF Police Department safety officer, student community service officers (CSOs) or other first responders.
CSOs will be stationed around Housing, and signage will be posted to notify the community of the training.
