As part of the October Campus Sustainability Month Events, HRDI is joining Environmental Studies Program in collecting clothes for the Clothing Swap. Why do we do this? Fast fashion wastes huge amounts of non-renewable resources. Swapping is more fun, affordable, and environmentally sustainable.
Anyone can participate. You can purchase an item for $2, bring an item and get an item (swap for free), or just donate. For donations only, drop off clothes ahead of time in Environmental Studies Program (H-424) or in HRDI’s 7th floor lobby from October 4-9. Look for the marked bins. The clothing swap will take place October 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Titan Walk.
