Physics Researcher to Discuss Smart Materials Design at Library Talk

Share This:

The Pollak Library Faculty Noontime Talks continue April 25 with Nabila Tanjeem, assistant professor of physics. Her presentation is titled “Investigating Assemblies of Microscopic Particles for Smart Materials Design.” This talk will discuss methods of designing self-assembly in laboratory experiments and current research on controlling microscopic order in materials by employing self-assembled particles. Tanjeem will introduce an emerging field of dynamic self-assembly where size/shape of the microscopic particles and their assembled structures can be tuned on demand using an external stimulus.
