The Faculty Noontime Talks continue on Tuesday, Feb. 21 with Hunter Hargraves, associate professor of cinema and television arts. His presentation, “Getting into Uncomfortable Television,” is based on his new book, Uncomfortable Television. The book examines the turn to discomfort in 21st century American television, outlining how television used well-known formal and generic changes to entice acculturating audiences to take pleasure from feeling uncomfortable.
