Pollak Library Presents ‘The Essence of Well-Being: The Method for Stress Reduction and Prevention of Burnout’

The Faculty Noon Time Talks continue on Tues., March 14 with Christine Vu , assistant professor in the School of Nursing presenting “The Essence of Wellbeing: The Method for Stress Reduction and Prevention of Burnout”.  

Vu’s scholarly work focuses on the practice of wellbeing, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, self-reflection, professional identity, and how to promote health and prevent disease among healthcare practitioners.  Through an unconventional storytelling approach, Vu will share how aspects of wellbeing such as positive emotions, relationships, meaning, accomplishment, and health can be the key to prevent burnout, reduce stress and help individuals pivot to a state of joy and hope for a beautiful life inside and out.
