A CSUF graduate celebrates at commencement.

New survey results show that 96% of a representative sample of 2,710 CSUF alumni have found employment, including some who are self-employed, according to data from Cal State Fullerton’s spring 2026 Post-Graduation Success Alumni Survey.

The survey is intended to assess alumni preparedness for post-graduation success and perceptions of their CSUF education.

The survey was administered by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning in collaboration with the Social Science Research Center. The results are examined through the lens of CSUF’s multidimensional definition of post-graduation success and offer deeper insight into graduates’ holistic success after completion. These findings point to ways the university can better support students beyond graduation.

Post-graduation success highlights include:

  • 96% of graduates are employed
  • 72% are working in their field of study
  • 77% are confident in achieving financial stability
