For Cal State Fullerton faculty or staff who are interested in leading a study abroad program in summer 2025, the deadline to submit an approved program proposal is June 1, 2024.

Ahead of this deadline, faculty and staff are invited to attend an upcoming workshop that covers essential information and university requirements for leading a program abroad. The workshop will also review the program proposal and approval steps. Attendees can join the workshop via Zoom, or attend in person in Pollak Library, room 216 on Friday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to noon.

It is required to attend this workshop in advance of the June 1 summer 2025 program proposal deadline. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.

Diana Robles, CSUF lecturer in child and adolescent studies, said that leading a study abroad program is “a transformative journey.”

“We do not just see the countries we immerse ourselves in, but we become part of the fabric of that community,” said Robles. “I continue to lead groups because it is exciting to see individuals change, including myself, with each journey in a way that is immeasurable and unique to this educational travel process. I cannot imagine a university experience without study abroad. This is the best way to teach, learn, connect and develop lifelong global advocates.”

The RSVP deadline for the workshop is May 2. To RSVP, fill out the form.
