If so, we invite you to submit your department/college-approved program proposals! CSUF Study Abroad and Global Engagement is now formally planning faculty-led programs for Winter Session 2025.
What’s it like leading a study abroad program?
“A transformative journey!” says Diana Robles, CSUF lecturer in child and adolescent studies. “That is how I describe leading a group of 24 students and three faculty members. We do not just see the countries we immerse ourselves in, but we become part of the fabric of that community.
“I continue to lead groups because to see individuals change, including myself, with each journey in a way that is immeasurable and unique to this educational travel process I cannot imagine a university experience without study abroad. This is the best way to teach, learn, connect and develop lifelong global advocates.”
