Cal State Fullerton will welcome the television crew for “The College Tour” to campus from July 29 through Aug. 2, and the team is looking for students to cast in the upcoming episode. Up to 10 students will have the opportunity to be featured in the show.
“The College Tour” is an Amazon Prime TV series created by some of Hollywood’s most recognizable producers. Alex Boylan, a winner of “The Amazing Race,” created and developed the show after his niece searched for colleges across the nation. CSUF’s episode will tell the story of Cal State Fullerton through the authentic lens of its students. The series is free to be viewed on multiple channels through streaming platforms, partnering with Prime Video, Google TV, Niche and Nearpod. It will also be on “The College Tour” app and website that is available to more than 60,000 high school counselors nationwide.
Students who are cast will be featured on the show, have a great addition to their resume and be granted access to “The College Tour’s” LinkedIn group to connect with other featured students across the country. Students can apply by submitting “The College Tour” form and uploading a two-minute audition video explaining who they are, their major and why they love CSUF.
Each student should have a story that resonates with one of the following topics:
- Academics
- Innovation
- Student life
- Career readiness
- Athletics
- Location
- Belonging
- Immersive learning
- Your CSUF story
The submission deadline is June 16. For additional questions, contact Danielle Van Dalsem at dvandalsem@fullerton.edu.
