Cal State Fullerton students on the individual events team participated in the International Forensics Association tournament in Dublin, Ireland, on March 10-12. More than 400 competitors from 41 schools participated in 17 different events, including a unique Irish Oral Interpretation event. Congratulations to the following students and faculty on their award-winning placements:
- Autumn Stauffer, 2nd place in After Dinner Speaking
- Autumn Stauffer, 2nd place in Audio Narration
- Autumn Stauffer, 4th place in Visual Communication
- Erika Thomas, Gold in Irish Oral Interpretation
- Aaron Weinstein, Silver in Irish Oral Interpretation
- Collette Blumer, Silver in Irish Oral Interpretation
The individual events team also competed at the National Online Forensics Championship tournament March 22-24. Isabela Coronel earned honors in impromptu speaking, an event with 33 competitors. Six students on the individual events team qualified for the National Forensic Association national tournament, which will be held at Central Michigan University in April.
