Cal State Fullerton students, staff and faculty looking to start their day with breakfast and engage their core can attend “Pancakes and Pilates,” an exclusive wellness event hosted by the Associated Students Inc.’s Student Recreation Center Sept. 25 at 10 a.m.
This free event will begin with a 45-minute mat Pilates class in the SRC dance room, followed by a complimentary brunch on the SRC pool deck. Interested attendees can register on the Titan Recreation signup page, as space is limited.
“This event aims to facilitate friendships and teach students about the multiple facets of wellness, including food and social interactions,” said Lauryn Salley, SRC fitness graduate assistant. “Creating a supportive environment is essential to help students participate in fitness activities in a comfortable and non-intimidating way.”
The Pilates class is suitable for all fitness levels, with instructors offering modifications for beginners.
After an accessible and engaging Pilates session, students can enjoy pancakes and bond with other participants on the pool deck, promoting both wellness and community engagement in a relaxed, post-workout environment.
The event supports SRC’s ongoing commitment to student health, well-being and campus involvement in line with the ASI Student Wellness Initiative. “Pilates and Pancakes” offers students a break from their academic routine to experience healthy movement, meaningful connection and a fresh start to their day.
