Women’s History Month Call for Programs

Share This:

As part of Cal State Fullerton’s longstanding tradition of celebrating cultural heritage, March marks a significant milestone for the campus as it honors Women’s History Month. This annual observance is a powerful opportunity for the campus community to come together and commemorate the remarkable history, immeasurable contributions and extraordinary diversity of women. The campus community is invited to actively engage in this celebration by submitting programs for events, workshops, panels, performances and other activities that honor and celebrate Women’s History Month.

Event Guidelines

Programs should aim to educate, engage, and/or inspire the campus community about the multifaceted aspects of Women’s History Month. Innovative and collaborative events that embrace and reflect the diverse range of experiences of women are encouraged.

Program ideas:

  • Identity workshops: Explore themes relating to cultural heritage and intersectionality.
  • Film screenings: Showcase films that highlight and explore women’s themes, stories and narratives.
  • Panel discussions: Address crucial topics pertaining to women’s history, activism and contemporary issues.
  • Art exhibitions: Showcase artistic expressions by women that capture the essence of the celebration.
