Five new awards honoring innovative faculty research were presented April 15 at a reception hosted by Cal State Fullerton’s Department of Research, Creative Activities and Technology Transfer.
Recipients of the new awards are:

Titan on the Rise Award – honoring scholarly achievements of a junior faculty member
• Nathalie Carrick, Child and Adolescent Studies
College of Health and Human Development
Outstanding Research Mentor Award – honoring consistent and successful mentoring
• Dawn Person, Educational Leadership
College of Education
Diversity in Research – honoring research on critical topics in higher education
• Tu-Uyen Nguyen, Asian American Studies
College of Humanities and Social Sciences
Outstanding Collaborative Research – honoring industry, university and/or community collaborations
• Marcelo Tolmasky, Biological Science
College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
Distinguished Faculty Research Award – honoring achievement in faculty research
