Author David Ulin Discusses New Book ‘Sidewalking’

Author David Ulin will discuss his just-released book, “Sidewalking: Coming to Terms With Los Angeles,” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Fullerton Arboretum. The free, 90-minute program will include readings from the book and a panel discussion featuring Gustavo Arellano, publisher and editor of OC Weekly, and Elaine Lewinnek, professor of American studies.

Ulin is the author or editor of eight previous books, including “The Lost Art of Reading: Why Books Matter in a Distracted Time.” He is a 2015 Guggenheim Fellow, a book critic and a former book editor for the Los Angeles Times.
