Coffee, Scripture and Brel Inspire Fall Dance Theatre Performances

Share This:

Talented students, faculty and guest artists hit the stage in the Little Theatre for this year’s Nov. 12-22 Fall Dance Theatre.

Dance pieces include “In Need of Coffee,” inspired by a morning cup of coffee and interpreted by dance major Chelsea Neiss; “The Cloak That Is Given To You” by dance major Jessica Vela, offering an abstract view of biblical scripture; and “De la Valse à l’Amour,” inspired by the songs of the late French crooner Jacques Brel and interpreted by faculty member Muriel Joyce.

Gladys Kares, professor of theatre and dance, is coordinating the series. Tickets are available online or by calling 657-278- 3371, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
