First-Time Freshmen Will Not Be Impacted by Exit Exam Cancellation

Share This:

First-time freshmen, who applied and were provisionally admitted to attend a California State University campus for fall 2015, will be allowed to start classes despite the cancellation in July of the California High School Exit Exam. Some California high school students did not receive a graduation date on their final high school transcripts because of the cancellation of the exam. Passage of the exam is not a requirement for CSU admission eligibility, however, a high school graduation date, noted on official transcripts, is required to verify successful completion of the required coursework for admission.
