One of the issues that many businesses face, especially family businesses, is deciding how to evaluate and appraise employees. “Performance — Review It or Regret It” is the subject of the Wednesday, Jan. 20, Center for Family Business workshop at Cal State Fullerton.
Guest speaker is human resources specialist Laurie Giesenhagen. She has worked in the field since 1990, and taught staffing, compensation, HR management, training and development at Cal State Fullerton. Giesenhagen earned a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota and holds dual certification as a senior professional in human resources and a Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) senior certified professional.
