What:
“Young at Heart” honors the late James D. Young, professor emeritus of theater and founding chair of Cal State Fullerton’s Theatre and Dance Department. The fundraiser is organized by the MAMM Alliance for the Performing Arts, a College of the Arts support group. Proceeds fund student scholarships and support various programs in the college.

Schedule:
Noon — “Jim and Dottie’s Picnic,” a festive box lunch, in the McCarty Grand Foyer of the Clayes Performing Arts Center.
1:15 p.m. — Alumni will read selections of Young’s poetry and prose at the Young Theater, named in the late professor’s honor, accompanied by a string quartet from the School of Music.
3 p.m. — A post-show celebration will include a champagne toast and dessert in the Mccarty Grand Foyer, along with drawings for various prizes.
