Gianneschi Center Co-Sponsors Community Collaborations Conferences

Cal State Fullerton’s Gianneschi Center for Nonprofit Research joins the Fullerton Collaborative in sponsoring “Collective Impact: Mission Building & Fundraising” — the first of two upcoming community collaboration conferences geared to those working in the nonprofit field.

The programs will feature speakers from local foundations, nonprofit leaders, businesses and educators discussing the introductory stages of collaboration within different groups, from vision casting to organization.

When:

The spring conference is scheduled for Feb. 25; the fall is slated for Nov. 10.
9-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25

Cost:                 

Early-bird signups for both spring and fall conference are $85/$45 per conference if registered two weeks prior to event. Single conference — $55.

Gianneschi Center:            

The center, housed in the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, supports the work of Orange County’s charitable organizations by encouraging scholarly research and education in the field. The center hosts an annual Summer School for Nonprofits and underwrites an annual student fellowship in nonprofit leadership. Center director is Susan Cadwallader, associate professor of marketing.

Fullerton Collaborative:

The Fullerton Collaborative is a cooperative of executive directors, educators, activists, community service leaders and volunteers dedicated to building and supporting a healthy cohesive community.
