‘Merry Wives’ Hits the Stage

Sarah Ripper, M.F.A. student in theatre arts – directing, helms William Shakespeare’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor” March 11-26 at the Young Theatre on campus. Published in 1602, the comedy follows Falstaff and his courtship of two wealthy married women, which includes sending them identical love letters. When they find out, the ladies pretend to respond to his advances for revenge and amusement.
