Faculty members from the College of the Arts have the most representation among educators on the panel of jurors for the 2016 Junior Art Exhibit of the Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach.
Art Department faculty among the 19 jurors are: Dorte Christjansen, professor emeritus; Betsy Holster, professor and art education program coordinator; plus lecturers Jeannette Johns, Dru Maurer and Melanie Vogel. Their names are displayed at the exhibit entrance.
The festival’s 2016 Junior Art Exhibit features drawings, paintings, sculpture and other art work by youngsters from pre-K through 12th-grade in school districts throughout Orange County.
Visitors can view the exhibit on the festival grounds through Aug. 31 at 650 Laguna Canyon Road., Laguna Beach, 92651.
